And then it was my birthday!
So I’ve been in Korea for more than a year now. Last year, I got a big and sweet surprise from my batchmates on the eve of my birthday. I’ve only known them for less than a month at that time so being a spoiled young girl who’s never been away from family and a fresh graduate with no full experience of the “real world”, I couldn’t help but feel emotional :P (Plus, if you knew me personally, you’d know I’m just a real cry-baby.) So anyway, this year, we also spent the first few minutes of my birthday together! :)
Here I am meeting them at the dorm lobby. I look surprised here but I was more amazed/happy to see them.

I got birthday wishes and gave hugs all around! And then it was time to blow the cake. They also made me the cutest video for my birthday!

Here is the cake after the attack.

And of course, our batch photo! Missing from the photo is Francine.

(Thank you batchmates aka ang aking pamilya sa Korea! Alam niyo kung gano ko kayo kamahal. Salamat sa lahat. Hinding hindi ko kayo makakalimutan!!! :) )
I really feel like God has blessed me with so much this past year. Maybe it’s because I also talked to Him more during the past months? Anyway, whatever the reason is, I just know that God is awesome and I am blessed. Now, I just need to switch myself back to normal mode and study for exams next week!
Lastly, I’m passing on love to everyone who reads this. Things won’t always go as how we planned or how we wished them to but it will be okay! Have faith! :)
